What is mobber?
Mobber is a mobile communicator based on the Jabber protocol for cell phones with GPRS. It is written in java (MID Profile Version 1.0) - should work on any device that supports Java (it was tested on Siemens CX65, Motorola A780 and phone emulators available for Linux).
Why do you want to use it?
*  It's totaly free ! (GPL licence)
*  It is based on an open standard Jabber/XMPP. You can use it with all IM systems available(including AIM ICQ MSN, yahoo...).
*  Very small size - only 26KB!
*  Works on any cell phone with Java & GPRS, it themes with rest of your interface
*  Full group support
*  Optionally show only present contacts
*  Very low costs compared to SMS (0.01PLN for 160-character message with price of 0.59PLN/100Kb, while SMS in Poland usualy costs 0.20PLNr/100Kb *)
*  You can make use of many jabber services, including: news headlines, dictionaries, sending SMS, mail, checking weather...

* remember that sending/receiving presence and login information also costs


Translations
*  You can easily translate the interface to your native language - just modify the Action.java & Label.java files and send them to mobber at gryf.info
